The Company

Cambridge Electronic Industries Ltd is a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of connectors and cable assemblies. Servicing a wide range of industries from our headquarters close to Cambridge UK. CEI has been trading since 1983 and operates on a global basis.

The Role

  • Assisting with the Purchasing function (Placing order, Expediting, General duties)
  • Assisting with the Sales function (Sales Order Processing, General duties)
  • Answering and diverting incoming calls as appropriate
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post
  • Maintaining company documentation Electronic & Hard Copies
  • Assist with data entry
  • Maintaining / ordering office supplies including stationery, coffee, tea, paper etc
  • Greeting visitors
  • Updating the company calendar with employee holidays, scheduled visits etc
  • Keeping track of employee holidays and sickness
  • Booking of accommodation and transport for executive level staff
  • Assist in the filing end of month / year paperwork
  • Assist with the planning of company events
  • Booking of Carriers (UK & International)
  • Preparation of Invoices for Sales
  • Dealing with Product samples
  • Support for departments within the Business General office duties

The following would be an advantage:
Experience in a customer facing role
Experience in an administrative role
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
