ISO Certification

Social and Environmental Policies
At Cambridge Electronic Industries we have a dedicated team who are responsible for making sure that we are up to date with global legislation for our environmental policies.
As a worldwide distributor we are well informed with all in country requirements and provide certification to facilitate the importation of our products, ready for your applications.
Conflict Minerals Statement
In July 2010, the U.S. Government signed the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (the “Dodd-Frank Act”). Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act requires of all US publicly traded companies to file disclosures and reports with the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) related to the use in their products, of Conflict Minerals (tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold) which may be financing conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo or an adjoining country.
Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy
The Slavery & Human Trafficking Act requires large retail and manufacturing companies to disclose what efforts they have taken to eliminate slavery and human trafficking from their supply chains.
Environment & Recycling Policy
Cambridge Electronic Industries Ltd are committed to continuously improve its environmental performance and integrate recognised environmental management best practice into our business operations and strategy and as a minimum to comply with all relevant environmental legislation. The management system used meets the requirements of ISO14001:2015 and is continually reviewed.
Persistent Organic Pollutants
The Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants was adopted by the Conference of Plenipotentiaries on 22nd May 2001 in Stockholm, Sweden.
The convention entered into force on 17th May 2004.
The Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants is a global treaty to protect human health and the environment from chemicals thatremain intact in the environment for long periods of time.
Counterfeit Products Statement
The counterfeiting of electronic and electrical products is recognised as a worldwide problem. Cambridge Electronic Industries Ltd. has implemented processes to address this problem and to protect its customers from the consequences of counterfeit products.
RoHS Statement
In Great Britain (GB) and in Northern Ireland (NI) many types of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) are regulated to control the levels of certain hazardous substances and chemicals they contain, with the aim of protecting human and animal health.
REACH Statement
REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. It is a regulation adopted by the European Union to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks posed by chemicals.
WEEE Statement
The WEEE Regulations aim to reduce the amount of waste electrical and electronic equipment incinerated or sent to landfill sites by encouraging the recovery, reuse, and recycling of products and components.
IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification
Cambridge Electronic Industries have been certified by WHMA (The Wiring Harness Manufacturer’s Association) with the IPC/WHMA-A-620 trainer qualifcation, which sets the expectations for what is considered acceptable quality workmanship for cables and harnesses.
