Our Fibre Optic Pigtails provide a simple, reliable method for terminating fibre-optic backbone cabling. Each Pigtail consists of a 900µm buffered fibre that is factory-terminated with a connector at one end, allowing for fast and secure fusion splicing during installation. The spliced joint is typically housed within a fibre patch panel, with the connectorised end presented at the front of the panel via fibre-optic adapters, creating a clean, professional termination point.  

Pigtails can be supplied with a wide range of connector styles to suit your specific application and network requirements. Each unit is fitted with a strain relief boot to help protect the termination and maintain long-term performance. Our range is available in 62.5/125 (OM1), 50/125 (OM2, OM3, OM4 & OM5) and 9/125 (OS2) Singlemode fibre types, with all standard 9/125 Singlemode Pigtails supplied with a UPC (Ultra Polished Connector) finish.
